1980

The birth of a know-how

Marc Lebellanger and Michel Oblin combine their skills to found Avranches Automatic. From its inception, the company focused on operations and laid the foundations for technical expertise that would permanently shape its identity.

1988

The strategic turning point

Driven by the boom in logic boards, Avranches Automatic is entering a new era and resolutely moving towards the trade. This development is accompanied by a move to Saint-Quentin-sur-le-Homme, in more suitable premises, as well as a significant strengthening of the teams, with particular attention paid to technical expertise.

1989

The industrial boom

The company is taking another step forward with the launch of its own range of video furniture. The model MJ25 is being established, while a new production unit, N'STYL, opens its doors, reflecting a clear desire for industrial control.

1990

Market recognition

Avranches Automatic's reputation and credibility allow it to access the distribution of the most prestigious brands. The company is also extending its reach beyond national borders and developing a business in manufactured under license, especially for Konami And Namco, major references in the sector.

1996

Network Structuring & Development

To support its growth, Avranches Automatic is strengthening its organization with the creation of EXA Group marking a new phase of structuring and expansion of its network.

2008

Strategic refocusing

Industrial production ceases, allowing the company to refocus on its core business activities import-export. This repositioning is accompanied by the maintenance and strengthening of the technical service, a historical pillar of the company's added value.

2024

Transmission & continuity

In March 2024, Avranches Automatic was taken over by Léo-Paul & Romain Oblin, son of one of the founding partners. This new generation ensures the continuity of the family legacy while opening a new chapter, with the simultaneous acquisition of SFA.

2026

A new dynamic

Avranches Automatic affirms its future by deploying its new identity, a symbol of modernity and renewal. At the same time, SFA invested in new premises in Fontenay-sous-bois strengthening its capabilities and development ambitions.
