The game is played head-to-head: each player controls five skaters and a goalie using rotating rods, simulating the intensity of real ice hockey.
Under its indestructible Lexan dome, matches take place in a retro-arcade atmosphere with video animations, arena sounds, LED effects and LCD screens to display score, time and spectacular actions.
Super Chexx Pro can be configured as a coin-op version for arcade operation or as a Free Play version for private spaces, with customization options such as LED lighting, cup holders and team themes (NHL, USA Hockey, Canada, etc.) to enrich the experience.
